There’s another piece to this that gets skipped a lot: action.
You can’t just say the words and expect everything to magically change. (Oh, how I wish that were true!) You also need to move and make the changes you want to see. If you want a healthier body, start doing the things that would support that. Throw out the junk food, or if you’re like me, just eat what’s left, but don’t buy more. Hey, I’m not throwing out perfectly good cookies.
Go for a walk, even if it’s to the mailbox and back. Just start making those small shifts towards your goals.
The same goes for anything else you’re trying to call in.
If you want to be more confident, start acting like you already are. Go out more. Talk to people. Start small if you need to; even a quick chat with a friendly stranger counts.
And yes… as I’m writing this, I’m thinking, I need to take my own damn advice. 😅
Don’t worry about trying to be perfect or pushing yourself too far outside your comfort zone. Just ask yourself, what would I do if I were already this person? Then start doing it, one step at a time. But start! Once you get going, things get easier, and the shift will begin.
Another piece that can really help is your imagination.
If you can picture what you want in your mind and feel into that, it makes a huge difference. Not just seeing it but engaging all your senses. Smell it, taste it, touch it, hear it, etc.
I have a really strong imagination, and this has worked for me.
When I wanted a house with a big kitchen and a huge island for baking, I didn’t just think about it. I pictured it. I imagined a beautiful home with an oversized kitchen island that I would hug. I felt the cool granite against my face. I pictured myself baking, smelling everything coming out of the oven, and decorating for the holidays, filling the space with warmth and love. I felt how happy I would be there.
About a year later, I bought my first house. It has a huge kitchen with the largest kitchen island I’ve ever seen (well, outside of TV). And yes, sometimes I hug it. I love my house!
The more real it feels to you, the easier it is to move toward it.
Watch the words you use as well. This matters more than you might think. Phrases like “I want”, “I need”, and “I wish” all reinforce that what you want isn’t here yet. If that’s the state you’re in, then that’s what you’ll keep creating. If you say, “I want to be happy”, you’re saying that you’re not there yet, so you’ll stay in a state of wanting and lack. Go back to Part 1 and use the language that keeps you in the present.
At the end of the day, manifestation isn’t about saying the perfect words. It’s about finding language that feels real, taking small actions that align with what you want, and gradually becoming the version of yourself that already has it.
That’s where the real shift happens.
Stay consistent and be patient; this usually doesn't happen overnight. You got this!
